About Me:
I'm a public media journalist, writer and radio producer, with particular focus on environmental, science and natural resource stories. I explore issues of place, the natural world and our connection to it.
I most recently worked for NET, Nebraska's statewide public radio and television station. Previously I worked for Platte Basin Timelapse, a long-term multimedia documentary project focused on the Platte River Basin. I've been a public radio news director, Morning Edition host, reporter and producer. I've produced stories for NPR's Morning Edition, Here and Now, Latino USA, PBS NewsHour and Harvest Public Media. My print work has been published in High Country News, Western Confluence and other magazines.
My homelands are the deserts, mountains and plains of the American West.
